Try this delicious cake recipe:

First of a meal is served sweet bread cake “daughter of the plate”.

1. yeast in 125 ml lukewarm water melt, stir until smooth. Heat 100 g clarified butter. In a baking bowl, mix the 2 eggs, sift half of the flour over them, mix with the yeast water and 1 tsp. salt. Gradually mix in the lard.

2. mix in the rest of the flour. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 min until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for half an hour.

Knead the dough, divide it into 10 pieces and roll them into balls. Heat the remaining clarified butter. Grease them lightly.

Roll out the first ball on a floured work surface to the size of the mold and fill it in. Brush generously with clarified butter. Roll out next ball in same manner, place on top of first layer and brush with clarified butter. Continue until all dough sheets are on top of each other in the mold.

Brush the surface with egg and sprinkle with black caraway seeds. Leave to rise for half an hour in a warm place away from drafts. Preheat the oven to 250 °C.

6. Place the dough in the middle of the oven, turn the temperature down to 220 °C and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Immediately brush with a tbsp. clarified butter, carefully run a small amount of honey over the top. Add the rest of the honey. You pluck with your hand a piece
