For the bean loaf, finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in a little olive oil until translucent. They should not take color. Mash the beans well with a fork or potato masher.

Add the egg, tomato paste, oregano and the onion and garlic and mix well. Add salt and pepper. Form flat loaves with wet hands and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake at 200 °C for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Turn after 10 minutes if necessary. Arrange the bean loafs and serve.
