For the banana cake with nuts, peel the bananas and mash them with a fork, mix with the cornflakes and let them sit for a while.
Beat the yolks, sugar and butter until fluffy. Mix flour, nuts and baking powder and fold into the yolk mixture alternately with the snow and the bananas.
If the dough is too firm, add a little milk. Pour the batter into a loaf pan lined with baking paper and bake the banana cake at 170 °C for about 50 minutes.
