For the family: wholefood recipe
Toddlers have tremendous fun baking. Satisfy their sweet tooth in a healthy way with these delicious granola apple sandwiches.
Place the flour in a suitable bowl. Press an indentation in the center. Crumble the yeast into the bulge, drip the apple syrup over it and pour as much milk on the yeast until it is covered. Leave the dampfl in a warm place with the lid closed for about 20 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients to the dampfl form and knead everything together well. The dough should be supple to the touch and should separate well from the sides of the bowl. Cover and let rise repeatedly for half an hour. Form 12 on-the-spot rolls from the dough and place on a well-greased, floured baking sheet. Brush with milk and sprinkle with buckwheat groats. Put a mug of water in the oven, place the tray in the cold oven and bake the rolls at 200 °C (gas mark 3) for 25-half hours. During the baking time, brush the rolls repeatedly with milk.
Cook and put in a well-sealed container in the refrigerator. It then goes “cooled” and can be wonderfully prepared the following day.
