Cut the meat into 4 thick slices. Roast in hot oil, turning, for 5-7 min. Bake baguette in heated oven at 175 °C for 8-10 min. Cut tomatoes and drained mozzarella into 8 slices each. Cut half of the basil into strips. Season meat with salt, season with pepper, sprinkle with basil. Place tomatoes and mozzarella on top. Bake under the broiler for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper. Garnish with remaining basil. Serve with fresh bread.
Extra tip: Keep leftover mozzarella cheese covered with brine in the refrigerator. It keeps well for 48 hours.
