For the marzipan pralines, knead the marzipan paste and the pistachios into a homogeneous mass and form into a roll.
Cut centimeter-thick slices and make a dent in the center of every other slice.
Place small balls of nougat inside and cover with an unbroken slice of marzipan. Join the edges together and shape into a praline ball.
Chill the balls for at least 4 hours. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath, remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
Pull the marzipan pralines through the chocolate coating with a praline fork or skewered on a toothpick and roll in chocolate flakes.
