For the rowanberry jam, wash and pluck the rowanberries and boil them with the water until very soft, then puree them.

Mix the fruit mixture with the sugar, vanilla sugar and citric acid, bring to the boil and cook according to the package instructions (from the preserving sugar).

Pour into twist-off jars.
