For the creamed rice, sauté the onion in the fat, add the diced meat and fry well. Then add the diced root vegetables and garlic and fry briefly.
Remove from heat, dust with paprika powder and add vegetable broth. Bring to a boil and add the rice and bay leaf.
Cook slowly for about 15 minutes. When the rice is tender, stir in the crème fraîche and season to taste. Serve with salad.
