For the toast with ham and mushrooms, first carefully clean the mushrooms and cut them into very fine strips. Grate the cheese, pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
Spread cream cheese on one half of each toast. Top with the ham, grated cheese, mushrooms and parsley and pepper a little.
Bake in the toaster until the bread is golden brown. Serve the toast with ham and mushrooms while still warm.
