Since I don’t have a steamer yet, I cook the salmon as follows:

Rinse the salmon fillet with cold water, then dab dry. Place enough aluminum foil on a baking sheet to wrap the fish and potatoes. Place the fish (skin side down) on the aluminum foil. Drizzle the fish with the juice of 1/2 lemon, pour the olive oil over the fish, salt and pepper.

Wash and coarsely chop the basil leaves and add to the fish. Slice the second half of the lemons and place on top of the fish. If you want you can wash the potatoes with peel, cut them into quarters and put them to the fish.

Then cover the fish with the foil so that the package is completely closed and the juice can not leak out.

Cook the salmon fillet in the oven at about 180 °C for 20-30 minutes.
