Try this delicious pasta dish:

As an entrée for 6 people, as a main course for 4 people.

Cook pasta in boiling hot salted water for 10-15 min – it should not become too soft. In the meantime, cook onion in hot fat at low temperature for another 8 min. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Drain the pasta well and place it in a large preheated baking dish. Pour the cheese sauce over it and bring it to the table on the spot.

This aromatic cheese sauce goes very well with pasta and makes a welcome change from the old-fashioned tomato sauce. The sage should be fresh, otherwise the sauce gets a bitter note.
