For the rice with pea-tomato sauce, cook rice in water until done. Cut onion into small cubes, heat oil in a pot and fry onion in it.

Add tomatoes and simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Add peas and simmer gently for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper and serve the rice with tomato pea sauce.
