Instructions:

Wash and peel the rhubarb and cut into small pieces.

Place in a large enough pot with the rest of the ingredients and simmer for about 20-30 minutes until the rhubarb is soft.

Let cool and remove the cinnamon stick and cloves.

Then allow the compote to cool thoroughly.
