A delicious mushroom dish for any occasion!
Clean the mushrooms and halve or quarter each according to size. Pour the hot milk over the slices of white bread and let them stand. Sauté the shallots in a frying pan with olive oil, stir in the garlic and parsley. Separate the eggs, mix the egg yolks, mix with the soaked bread and stir in 1 tbsp olive oil. Add the mushrooms, shallots and cooked ham to the mixture and season with pepper, salt, nutmeg and thyme. Whip the egg whites to egg whites, season with a pinch of salt and fold carefully into the casserole mixture.
Pour everything into a greased baking dish and bake at 180 °C (top and bottom heat) in the oven for about 45 min.
