Preparation Put soybean oil, sake, soy sauce, sesame oil in a saucepan and heat (Do not let it boil! The alcohol should not yet evaporate.).

Fold in the sugar until dissolved. Cool until lukewarm.

Clean and rinse the scallions and cut into pieces about 2 cm long. Cut the meat into cubes of about 2-3 cm.

Stick the meat on bamboo skewers. Always skewer a piece of onion after 2 cubes. Stop with a piece of meat. Place the skewers in a roasting pan and pour the lukewarm sauce over them (this helps the marinade to soak in better). Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for one night. Turn to the other side in between. e The marinade colors the immersed meat nicely dark, but there is not enough marinade to immerse the kebabs completely. But since there is a lot of marinade left over anyway, it is better to put the kebabs in bags.

To be on the safe side, however, put them in a gratin dish, provided that you pierce the sackln with the pointed ends and the marinade might run out.
