Kapustnjak (Shchi is kisloji kapustij) – Soup from sauerkraut
Remove the bones and pour the clear soup through a dish. In this clear soup sauerkraut form and soften. Cut off 2 large onions and sauté in butter until soft, add flour and extinguish, add to the soup. Season the soup with pepper and salt.
This soup can also be prepared as a Lenten soup. For this purpose, the clear soup is prepared from root vegetables and mushrooms, and the butter is replaced with vegetable oil.
