A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Prepare baking powder, sugar, flour, salt, light butter and milk to a smooth kneaded dough and put it to cool. Rinse the apples, remove the peel, grate coarsely and mix with the lemon zest and juice of one lemon. Then add sugar, raisins and almond kernels. Roll out half of the dough and place it on a greased or parchment paper-lined baking sheet (35×40 cm). Spread the apple mixture evenly on top. Roll out the remaining dough and place it on top as a lid, smooth it out a little with a rolling pin, brush it with condensed milk and pierce it with a fork. Decorate with cut out dough scraps. Bake in a heated oven at 220-225 °C (gas mark 3-4) for about 30 minutes.

Now cool a little and cut into square pieces (about 6×6 cm).
