Peel and coarsely chop the turmeric tuber. Caution: Since the turmeric tuber stains very strongly, it is recommended to do this with disposable gloves.
Put the tuber pieces and peels in a pot together with the ground turmeric and put the eggs in. Pour hot water until the eggs are covered and add 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
Bring the eggs to a boil on the stove and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Carefully lift out the Easter eggs and allow to cool. If necessary, very carefully clean off the excess turmeric powder with a kitchen roll.
