For the curd dumplings, first cream butter, stir in curd cheese, salt lightly, add lemon zest and stir in eggs. Fold in flour and semolina and let swell briefly.
In the meantime, boil water in a saucepan, form dumplings and boil until lightly simmering. When all the dumplings float to the surface of the water they are cooked. Melt butter in a pan, add breadcrumbs, sugar and cinnamon and roll the curd dumplings in it.
