A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Beat the light butter with the sugar until creamy, then add the whole eggs and the salt and mix well with the hand mixer. Then mix flour with baking powder and sift it over the egg mixture, incorporating it with the hand mixer. Finally, peel the bananas and mash with a fork, add to the dough form and fold in.

Grease a loaf pan (25 cm) with light butter and pour in the batter, spreading it smoothly. Bake in the oven for about 60 minutes at 160 °C.

After one hour, make a cooking test, maybe add another 15 min of baking time.

The banana bread can also be eaten warm. It tastes exceptionally good with vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce or possibly whipped cream.
