For the baked rice, put the rice with milk, spices and sugar in the steamer (universal cooking, 100 degrees, 100% humidity).

After 30 minutes, stir, add water to the steamer and put the mixture in again for 30 minutes. Alternatively, the rice pudding can be prepared in the pot without a steamer.

Melt the butter in the finished (still hot) rice pudding. While the rice is cooling, butter a baking dish, peel the apples and cut them into small slices. Beat the egg whites to snow.

First add the yolks and then the snow to the overcooled rice. Pour half the rice mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle the chopped apples on top.

Cover with the remaining rice mixture and bake at 160 degrees hot air for about 40 minutes. Arrange the baked rice and serve.
