For the gratinated zucchini in tomato sauce, heat the olive oil and press the garlic cloves into the hot oil. Stir briefly, add the minced meat and fry until it is cooked through.
Season with a little salt and cumin. In the meantime, wash the zucchini and cut them in half lengthwise. Using a teaspoon, scrape out the insides to make wide furrows.
Spread the fried mince in all the zucchini halves. Pour the canned tomatoes into the pan where the mince was fried and bring to a simmer. Season with a little salt, sugar and basil.
Add 100 ml of water (or soup) and thicken with 2-3 tablespoons of flour. Pour the tomato sauce into an oven dish, add the stuffed zucchini and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake the baked zucchini in tomato sauce at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
