For the Zimtschlangl roll out puff pastry and brush with beaten egg. Mix cinnamon and sugar well and spread about half of it on the dough.

Then fold the puff pastry lengthwise and cut into strips about 1 cm wide. Crumple the strips and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush the remaining egg over them, pour the remaining sugar mixture over them and bake quickly in the oven at 200 degrees with hot air.
