For the cinnamon orange ribbons, cream the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar, add the eggs and salt and beat until thick and creamy. Sift flour with baking powder and stir into the egg yolk mixture.
Divide the dough into two equal sized masses. Season one dough with orange zest and the other with cinnamon, cocoa and mace.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Place the two doughs in a double-chamber piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and pipe small loops onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake the cinnamon orange bows for 10-15 minutes.
