Instructions:

For the chocolate cake, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Beat yolks, soft butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Mix in cocoa powder, flour and baking powder.

Fold in the snow and pour the batter into a greased springform pan. Bake at 180 °C top/bottom heat for approx. 30-40 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool.

For the glaze, melt chocolate with butter. Spread the jam on the cake. Cover the cake with the chocolate glaze, refrigerate and decorate the chocolate cake as desired.
