For the wholemeal spirals with tomatoes, breadcrumb topping and ham, first cook the pasta according to the package instructions until soft.

In the meantime, wash and halve the tomatoes. Cut shallots and garlic into fine slices. Pluck the basil.

In a pan without fat, fry the Black Forest Ham on both sides and set aside. Sauté the shallots, garlic and tomatoes in the pan with a little olive oil, sugar and the rosemary. Add a sip of water and simmer, covered, for 3-4 minutes. Add the pasta and capers to the sauce and toss. Add a ladle of pasta water and season with salt and pepper. Remove the rosemary.

Arrange the pasta on plates and sprinkle with breadcrumb topping. Arrange black forest ham and basil on top and serve the wholemeal spirals with tomatoes, breadcrumb topping and ham.
