Instructions:

Roughly dice the onions. Remove peel from carrots and cut into slices. Sauté both in hot oil. Sprinkle with sugar and caramelize lightly. Add the lentils with the liquid.

Peel and core the apples and cut them into pieces. Also add and do everything together in a closed saucepan for 20 min at low temperature. Season the stew with salt and pepper, curry and a dash of sweet and sour vinegar.

If desired, add smoked, briefly fried tofu to the table.

Our tip: Use young, tender carrots!
