Knead marzipan paste with sifted powdered sugar until smooth. Knead the juice of one lemon into the smooth dough.

Remove the seeds from the dates. Roll the marzipan into oblong rolls the size of a date kernel and fill the dates with them. Press the fruit half together over the filling so that a small white stripe is still visible. Keep refrigerated.
