Instructions:

Spread bread on the bottom of a square springform pan (30×30 cm). Alternatively, a small baking tray can be used. Cream butter with mustard, add onion and diced ham, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste and spread evenly on the brown bread.

Place another layer of brown bread on top.

Mix the cream cheese and sour cream or crème fraiche together and season with the peach liqueur. Spread half of the amount evenly on the bread. Place a third layer of brown bread in the mold, and finally spread the other half of the quantity evenly on the bread layer. Refrigerate, decorate with pistachios and strawberry pieces before serving, sprinkle with fresh chive rolls.

Our tip: Use salmon instead of ham and a dry white wine instead of vineyard peach liqueur. If you like it exceptionally spicy, sprinkle the strawberries with a little black pepper (from the mill).
