fat or butter flakes in a well-sealable braising pan form. Season the thinly sliced beef noodles with paprika, pepper, marjoram, mustard, thyme, salt, sprinkle seasoning noodles lightly, add coarsely sliced onions in layers with the meat and butter flakes in the frying pan. Top with more butter flakes.

Pour half of the soup over the Plätzli. Pour white wine or apple wine over it. Close frying pan tightly so that no steam escapes. Steam for at least 1.5 hours on the lowest rack of the oven. If the sauce reduces considerably, add more liquid (soup).
