For the quick apple pie, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, then stir in the eggs, lemon juice, flour, cornstarch and baking powder.
Preheat the oven to 175 °C, grease a 24 cm springform pan and sprinkle with the ground almonds. Pour the dough into the prepared form.
Cut the peeled apples into wedges and press them into the dough, sprinkle the almond slivers over them and put them in the oven.
Bake on the middle shelf for about 40 minutes.
