Instructions:

To make these Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes, which are also visually beautiful, preheat the oven to 180 °C. Butter two cupcake molds and dust them with flour.

Sift together flour, Pumpkin Spice seasoning, baking powder, and salt.

In a kitchen mixer, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and carefully mix them in. Finally, mix in the pumpkin puree.

Fold the flour mixture and buttermilk into the pumpkin mixture alternately. Pour the cupcake batter into the molds and bake for about 25 minutes. Do the chopstick test.Then let cool.

In the meantime, prepare the frosting for the Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes. To do this, beat the butter until fluffy and mix in the cream cheese. Then stir in the sugar. The more sugar you stir in, the firmer and also whiter the frosting will be. Just keep adding sugar until you reach the perfect consistency for you.

Use a piping bag to pipe the frosting onto the cooled Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes and decorate further as desired, e.g. with caramel sauce.
