Pumpkin Seed Marzipan Rolls

For the pumpkin seed marzipan rolls, quickly knead flour, butter, cream, sugar and salt into a smooth dough. Leave to rest in a cool place for a short time.

Preheat oven to 180 ºC hot air.

In the meantime, mix the pumpkin seeds with the softly kneaded marzipan and 2 tablespoons Amaretto. Form the mixture into two narrow strands. Divide the chilled dough into two halves and roll them out on a floured work surface.

Place a marzipan strand in the center of each of the two rolled out doughs and wrap it tightly with the dough. Cut slices from each of the resulting rolls.

Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with the egg-milk mixture, sprinkle with chopped pumpkin seeds and bake for about 12 minutes.
