For the Provencal tomatoes, preheat the oven to 190°C degrees and grease a baking dish. Cut the tomatoes into thick slices and place them in the baking dish.
Season with salt and pepper and drizzle the olive oil over them. Mix bread crumbs with parsley and garlic and sprinkle over tomatoes. Pour butter in flakes over the tomatoes and bake the Provencal tomatoes together in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
