For the potato dumplings wash the potatoes, boil, peel, strain hot.
Knead potatoes with salt, flour, egg, butter and semolina to a smooth dough. Salt water in a pot and bring to a boil. Form dumplings from the dough with floured hands and place in the lightly boiling salted water. Allow to roll for 15 minutes.
Remove the potato dumplings with a perforated ladle and serve.
