For the Maroniplunder roll out the puff pastry and cut to size – depending on whether you prefer croissants, Plundertaschen, etc..

Spread the cut puff pastry pieces with jam and place a piece of chestnut puree on top of each. Roll into the desired shape (like croissants), brush with egg and sprinkle with a few almond slivers.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C convection for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
