For macaroni in ham and cheese sauce, cook the macaroni in plenty of salted water until al dente, strain the pasta, reserving some of the pasta water and rinse the pasta.
Finely chop the onion and ham. Heat some olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion and ham. Pour whipping cream and add some of the pasta water.
Add cream cheese and cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Season with salt, pepper, soup seasoning and fresh chopped herbs.
Arrange in a plate and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
