A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Sift baking powder, flour, cornstarch and salt into a large enough bowl, break the cold butter into flakes and rub with the flour. Add the egg yolks and cream. Knead everything by hand as quickly as possible. Form into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Divide the dough into two parts as large as possible on the spot. Preheat electric oven to 180 °C , convection oven to 160 °C , gas oven to level 3 to 4.

Roll out the dough pieces to form a base and a lid the size of a springform pan. Pull up the base at the edge, prick.

Filling: grind almonds and walnuts twice in an almond mill. Melt sugar in a small pan. Mix in ground cloves, nuts, cinnamon and bee honey. Immediately (while still as hot as possible) mold onto the pastry sheet. Cover with the second pastry sheet. Brush this with 2 egg yolks. Prick with a fork at regular intervals (1 cm).
