Instructions:

Soak lentils in cold water for one night.

Rinse and cover with fresh water in about 1 hour until very soft (mushy), provided that necessary, still add water.

Season with pepper, turmeric, salt and cumin.

Heat oil, fry onion in it until light brown, press garlic directly to it, fry briefly. Add this mixture to the lentil paste form, stir.

It can be served with meat dishes, but together with long-grain rice it is also a complete vegetarian meal.

If desired, offer fresh, deseeded chili peppers with it.
