Blunzen with Sweet and Sour Lentils

Instructions:

Soak lentils for one night (provided that necessary!).

Foam butter (1), brown diced onion. When sweet fragrance rises, brown diced vegetables. Add the lentils and the soaking water. Bring to a boil and cook gently with the lid closed.

Fry blunzen gently on both sides in foaming butter (2) for about 12 to 15 minutes. Fry bacon in dry frying pan until crispy, add onion rings and also gently fry until crispy.

Season lentils with salt and pepper. Add vinegar and season with sugar to sweet and sour. Arrange in large baking dish. Spread bacon and onion rings evenly on top. Top with blood sausages.
