Homemade baby food – First complementary food
For creamy spinach soup, clean spinach and rinse with cold water. Remove coarse stems. Wash, peel and dice the potatoes. Wash, peel and cut the carrot into pieces. Peel and halve the garlic clove.
Heat oil in a pot and fry the halved garlic clove in it and take it out. Now add the pieces of potatoes and carrots to the pot, fry briefly, add water and salt lightly.
Now add the leaf spinach and cook the soup until the potato cubes are soft. Remove the soup from the heat and puree with a hand blender. Now stir in the whipped cream or crème fraîche.
Sprinkle the spinach soup with finely chopped parsley before serving.
