For the chocolate-orange spread, pit the dates and coarsely chop them. Soak in orange juice for at least 1 hour. Finely puree them with a hand blender.
Toast the almonds in a dry pan and grate them finely with the blender until the almond oil comes out. A fine almond cream is formed.
Mix the almond cream with the date puree, some grated orange peel, the orange liqueur, cocoa and the chocolate to a paste. Finally, mix in the butter and finish the chocolate-orange spread.
