For the ratatouille, wash, clean and chop the vegetables. Peel and chop the onions and garlic and sauté in oil.
Add the vegetables, also sauté and pour the tomatoes, simmer a little. Then season to taste with the spices.
In the meantime, knead the ingredients for the meatballs well together and form small balls. Carefully place them in the ratatouille and cook.
When the meatballs are cooked through (about 10 minutes), they can be served with rice and sprinkled with herbs if desired.
