Instructions:

Soak the rolls in water. Peel and finely dice onion. Fry onion cubes in 1 tablespoon hot fat, let cool.

Squeeze the rolls well and knead together with minced meat, onion and egg. Season well with salt and pepper.

Form 8-10 meat loafs from the meat mixture. Heat 2 tablespoons of fat in a frying pan. Fry the meatballs over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side until brown.

Arrange the meatballs on a plate and baste with the frying fat. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Serve with mustard and bread rolls.
