Try this delicious cake recipe:

You quarter the peeled pears, remove the core and cut the quarters into pieces. Then you make the pears with the pear brandy, the cinnamon sticks, the juice of one lemon and 1 tsp. sugar in the water in about 15 min. Take the pears out of the water and let them cool down. Make a kneaded dough from the ingredients for the base and press it on the bottom of a greased cake springform pan. Separate the eggs, whip the egg whites until very stiff, mix the remaining ingredients for the cream with the egg yolks and fold in the snow. Spread the curd cream on the pastry base and form the pear pieces on top. Bake the cake at 175 degrees for about 25 to half an hour. Cool the cake well in the cake springform pan. Cook the glaze according to package directions, but replace the liquids with the wine and pear brandy. Pour the glaze over the cake, cool and then remove it from the cake pan.
