A simple but delicious cake recipe:
For this recipe only plums, do not take plums, it tastes better. It can also be more than 600 g. Be.
Rinse the plums, cut them in half and remove the seeds. Sprinkle with the sugar and set aside.
Stir the butter through. Fold in sugar by spoonfuls, then add yolks and salt. Mix flour, cornstarch (maize starch) and baking powder well. Add to butter form together with milk and fold in. Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.
Spread half of the dough on a greased baking tray sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Pre-bake in the oven heated to 180 °C on the middle shelf for 10 minutes.
Cover with the plums and spread the rest of the dough evenly over the top. Continue baking at 180 °C for 50 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Sprinkle over the cake while it is still warm.
