For the cheese and leek strudel, unwrap the finished puff pastry. Sauté the leeks in butter, mix with the remaining ingredients when overcooled.

Fill puff pastry and roll up. Brush with egg. Bake the cheese-leek strudel at 200°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
