Chop the onion with the parsley and sauté briefly in the butter. Cut the ham and bacon into fine cubes. Mix the eggs in the milk.
Cut the rolls into cubes and pour the egg milk over them. Add the remaining ingredients, mix evenly and let stand for an hour.
Form the dough into a roll, divide into 12 equal pieces and shape into dumplings with slightly wet hands.
Place in large steamer insert and cook until done.
