For the Wiener Wäschermädln, first divide marzipan into 8-12 pieces and shape into balls. Pit the apricots and fill each with a marzipan ball instead of the pit. Close the apricots and turn them in a little flour.
Separate eggs, beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until firm. Mix milk with yolks and powdered sugar. Stir in flour until a smooth dough is formed, finally fold in the beaten egg white.
Heat the oil in a small saucepan, fold the apricots into the batter and deep-fry in the hot fat until golden brown. Drain the Wiener Wäschermädln on some kitchen paper and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
