For the rum ball muffins, cream together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, rum, salt and milk.

Combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda and baking powder and fold in with the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into muffin tins and press a rum ball into each. Bake the rum ball muffins at 190 degrees for about 25 minutes.
